Reliability of an engineering system characterized by hot and cold standby: A compound boundary value problem

نویسندگان

چکیده

We analyse the reliability (survival function) of a duplex system characterized by hot standby and sustained an auxiliary unit in cold standby. The entire is attended two heterogeneous repairmen. Our methodology based on theory sectionally holomorphic functions combined with notion dual transforms. Finally, we also study total occupational time repairman responsible for repair failed priority during survival system.

On the Reliability of a Renewable Multiple Cold Standby System

Apart from important but particular cases, such as state-dependent exponential distributions, for example, [1, 4] or an arbitrary repair time distribution [12], the reliability analysis of multiple cold standby systems is far from complete. We present a general reliability analysis of a basic multiple cold standby system attended by a single repairman, henceforth called a K-system. The K-system...

reliability and safety modelling in reliable systems supported with cold standby spares by a markov model

fault tolerance is one of the important issues in industries, such as transportation, military, chemical and nuclear sectors. reliability and safety are two vital attributes of fault tolerant systems, and redundancy is a common way to improve these parameters. this article studies the impact of including cold standby spares in system architecture. to do this, it uses the markov model of the sys...

A Boundary Value Problem for Cold Plasma Dynamics

A characteristic feature of wave propagation in cold plasma is the possibility that a hybrid resonance surface, along which the linearized equation for the scalar potential changes from elliptic to hyperbolic type, may be tangent to a flux surface. This property can be represented in two dimensions by setting the hybrid resonance curve tangent to the line x = 0 at the origin of coordinates. The...

A study of interval analysis for cold-standby system reliability optimization under parameter uncertainty

This paper presents a study of interval analysis for solving cold-standby system reliability optimization problems with considering parameter uncertainty. Most works reported in existing literature have been based on the assumption that the probabilistic properties and statistical parameters have a known functional form, which is usually not the case. Very often the parameters are presented in ...
